G-type propellers are replaced by H-type propellers.

There are a few things to consider when changing from a G-type propeller to an H-type propeller on a DPH engine. First of all, it is not possible to mix the types of propellers on the same engine.

Type H propellers have a longer hub and the two types of propeller do not fit together. Because of the longer hub, a new propeller cone is used for type H propellers.

Always use the same type and size of propeller on the same gearcase (or on both gearcases in a dual installation). Be sure to order propeller cone 23000185 when changing from G to H (see related products). In addition, in a dual installation, propellers of the same type must be used on both the starboard and port gearcases.

Note! The propeller cone must be replaced to adapt to type H propellers, propeller cone reference 23000185. Do not mix type G and H propellers.

The two types of propeller are similar in design, but they are not exactly the same and there may therefore be small differences in performance between the two. Compared to type G, type H has a slightly larger blade surface and the stainless steel material means stiffer propeller blades.

The patented blade geometry of the H-type propellers ensures optimal interaction between the front and rear propellers, for exceptional efficiency and smooth, comfortable operation. The large surface area of the blades offers maximum grip and maneuverability. Made of high-strength stainless steel alloy for excellent strength and durability. Equipped with a shock-absorbing rubber ring and galvanic isolation, they are perfectly suited for DPI and DPH training.

The two counter-rotating propellers bite hard to produce unparalleled thrust, true straight tracking - even in reverse - and faster acceleration on the plane.

The dual counter-rotating propellers eliminate the lateral forces present in conventional single-propeller engines. This means that the engine's energy and power are concentrated on propelling the boat forward, not sideways.

The Duoprop system allows for up to 30% faster acceleration and a top speed about 5% faster than any conventional single-propeller system, without increasing gasoline consumption. At partial load, you can expect 10% to 12% lower gasoline consumption.

Whether at high speed, in tight corners or when docking in a crowded marina, grip is guaranteed. The Duoprop also reduces the boat's tendency to roll.

Better grip in the water means getting on the plane faster and staying on it at low speed.

The Duoprop produces lower vibration and noise levels thanks to the distribution of shock impulses over a greater number of blades. Shock-absorbing rubber bushings guarantee the transmission's lifespan. Thanks to its counter-rotating propellers and unique blade geometry, it is virtually cavitation-free.
