Part Number 8M0173694: Under-Helm Mount

• Location: It is installed in a sheltered location, behind the dashboard / under the helm console.
• Wiring: It is designed to be connected to an existing Mercury junction box (4- or 5-way) under the dashboard via a data harness from the engine. It then connects locally to the console’s NMEA 2000 backbone.
• Advantage: Ideal if the boat already has SmartCraft digital gauges on the dashboard (such as SC1000 speedometers) because the entire installation is done at the console, without opening the engine cowling.
