Versatile navigation instrument and display with a 4.1-inch color screen, optically bonded to prevent condensation, featuring transflective LCD technology for exceptional visibility and contrast in all lighting conditions. Only 8 mm thick, just like other B&G system components and multifunction displays.
Color display
The Triton² display provides sailors with a clear visual representation of the main data from key instruments, including speed, depth, wind, heading, AIS targets, GPS data, and more.
Exceptional visibility
An optically bonded screen eliminates any condensation or fogging on the screen and the transflective LCD technology offers exceptional contrast and visibility, day and night, while consuming less electricity than traditional single backlit screens. The NMEA 2000® certified Triton² flexible display can be integrated into a larger navigation system. It can also be combined with a Triton² pilot keypad and a NAC autopilot computer to create a complete autopilot control system. It is equipped with B&G autopilot steering algorithms specific to sailing.
"The best of the bunch"
The magazine Practical Boat Owner tested the Triton² in its March 2017 issue, as part of a comparative test of five NMEA2000 instrument displays. They were impressed: "The best of the bunch in terms of clarity and brightness was the B&G Triton²." The transflective LCD was the best of all the instruments we tested: sharp, clear and bright, with excellent viewing angles of around 170 degrees. The graphics were well presented and easy to understand."
