JOHNSON-EVINRUDE Side-Mount Control Box with Trim

New improved surface-mount remote control offering better performance and navigation reliability.

The BRP remote control is designed for more positive gear shifting and smoother throttle operation.

The remote's handle has an exclusive design that allows for left or right installation, as well as a new thumb-operated trim switch that is easier to use. The kit includes a key switch, emergency lanyard, preheat lever, ignition lockout switch, neutral lock and throttle friction adjustment, and a horn.

This control works with outboard motors from 1996 onwards.

This control can be used on engines from 1973 to 1995 with the purchase of the wiring harness adapter part number 768411.

Engines manufactured prior to 1979 require the control cables to be replaced with CC205XX control cables.

Harnesses compatible with this control:

• 176339 - Length 12 feet (engine from 1996 and later)
• 176340 - Length 15 feet (1996 and later engines)
• 176341 - Length 20 feet (engine from 1996 and over)
• 176342 - Length 28 feet (engine from 1996 and later)
• 768411 - Length 20 feet (engine from 1973-1995)
