Assembly can be completed in seconds and installation in minutes. The only tools required are a drill with a 5mm drill bit and a Phillips screwdriver. The system can be specifically adjusted to maximize the performance of any motorboat, and TRACKING RIBS have been added to improve maneuverability at higher speeds.

The nitrogen gas actuator provides LIFT at the stern of the boat by holding the trim plate down during acceleration. The amount of LIFT is determined by the actuator's rated load and the trim plate setting, which is made at the time of installation.

SPEED CONTROL

Nauticus trim tabs start in a downward angel to maximize lift at slow speeds. As the boat accelerates, the water pushes on the trim plates, allowing the stern to be lifted, minimizing bow rise and allowing the boat to plane quickly.

Once the water pressure exceeds the rated load of the actuator (maximum lift), the trim tabs move to a horizontal position, eliminating any drag.

As the boat's speed increases, so does the water pressure. Once the water pressure exceeds the rated load of the actuator (maximum lift period), the trim tabs begin to move upward until they are horizontal with the bottom of the boat.

The internal valve system dampens the trim plate movement, eliminating any instantaneous reaction to minor variations in water pressure. Nauticus trim tabs provide smooth, undetectable reaction at boat speed, creating a more comfortable level, one turn at lower speeds.

INSTALLATION IS SIMPLE

With an electric drill, a small drill bit, a Phillips screwdriver and two wrenches, almost anyone can install SMART TABS in less than an hour. Professional installers should be able to install SMART TABS in 30 minutes or less.

All mounting hardware, instructions and templates are included.
