'The Rack' Steering Cable SSC134

  • Rack-and-pinion steering cable providing high steering precision on boats.
  • For use with outboard or inboard engines with a mounting bracket.
  • Steering precision: 4 turns port to starboard
  • Standard 3/4" tapered shaft (Ø 19mm)
  • Stainless steel cable end on engine side - Easy installation behind the dashboard - Complies with CE, NMMA, and ABYC standards

Note:

The SSC134 cable replaces the older-generation SSC124 or XR-4 cable (1984–1996) that was mounted on rack-and-pinion steering systems: SH5098P, SH5097P, SH91528, and SH91529. All of these steering boxes are obsolete and no longer available. If replacing an SSC124 cable with an SSC134 cable, the steering box must also be replaced, as the new cable is not compatible with the older steering boxes.
