The Plastimo Transocean raft meets the requirements of the "offshore" category defined by Division 240, in force since May 1, 2015.
Designed for extreme conditions of use: large number and volume of water pockets, large surface area floating anchor, inflation at -15°C (group A), double insulated bottom, fluorescent orange tent with automatic inflatable arch, 4.3 cd exterior lamp, radar-reflective and retro-reflective strips.

The Transocean ISO 9650-1 raft is also equipped with a weighted reversible ladder and an interior handle to facilitate boarding: this system allows the shipwrecked person to easily swing into the raft after taking position on the ladder. In the event of capsizing, the boarding ladder tilts and positions itself so that the castaway can climb back onto the overturned raft, making it easier to right.
Two types of equipment are available depending on how long the castaway is likely to spend in the raft before being rescued: a full kit including water and food (estimated wait for rescue of more than 24 hours) or a lighter kit (estimated wait for rescue of less than 24 hours). The kit can be supplemented with an additional survival bag.

- Food rations: 500 g per person, or 2 kg for 4 people. Each 500 g box contains 9 concentrated cereal-based biscuit tablets made from GMO-free cereals.
Energy value of a 500 g box: 2,475 Kcal / 10,200 KJ. Consume a maximum of 3 bars per day.
