The SNAPP™ series is a compact, disposable gasoline filter water separator with high-end filtration capabilities. Unlike conventional small engine filters, which use a screw-on element requiring a strap wrench for maintenance, the SNAPP™ filter features a patented support system and quick-connect fittings that eliminate the need for gaskets or threads. This makes changes quick, easy and tool-free. The filter requires only 2-1/2 inches of front space for servicing, making it suitable for installation wherever you need it.

The high-impact, one-piece nylon construction of the SNAPP™ filter housing is coupled with a stainless steel or powder-coated (for marine use) mounting bracket to resist corrosion in all environments. The transparent collection bowl allows for accurate inspection of gasoline quality. A self-venting drain is also available for easy removal of collected water.

At the heart of the SNAPP™ gasoline filter is Racor's exclusive Aquabloc® technology. Aquabloc® is a uniquely designed media that incorporates spaced corrugations and a graduated pore structure to increase dirt-holding capacity and extend filter life. The media is waterproof and rustproof, capturing contaminants while the specially treated surface separates and coalesces water from gasoline, allowing the water to gather in large droplets that then fall into the transparent collection bowl.
